I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about this restaurants are for. I've always had a good meal here. I highly recommend the cajun tenderloin tips, YUM! The prices are more than the average chain but worth it for something special. You may have a wait for a friday or saturday night being that there aren't very many nice restaurants in town. Enjoy!

We had heard about this restaurant and wanted to try it for a nice dinner out in Okemos. We had a reservation for 7:30 pm on a Saturday. We still had to wait 20 minutes to be sat. The explanation for the wait was "a lot of walk-ins." Seemed like they knew how to take a reservation, but not how to hold a reservation, because we were not the only reservation that had to wait. I was not very impressed with the ambiance, either. It looked like any other restaurant. The food was good - I had a steak. I thought it was kind of pricey for the overall presentation. I can go to a nicer looking restaurant with better tasting food for the same price, and I can be sat at the time of my reservation. There is nothing worth returning here for.

The Stilwater grill is a very nice restaurant. The food is excellent whether you are going to lunch or dinner. The steak and prime rib is absolutely wonderful. I also recommend their mashed potatoes...they are excellent. The prices at Stillwater are a bit higher, but that should be expected because the food is a lot better than a place like applebees or chilis.

This restaurant on the corner of Jolly and Okemos Roads in Okemos, MI is a steak and seafood restaurant with a beautiful classy environment. My wife and I enjoy the Prime Rib, which is always cooked to perfection. Stillwater started in Brighton, MI, but with the success of that restaurant, they opened a new shop a few years ago in Okemos.I cannot say enough good things about Stillwater. While the prices are a bit high, that is to be expected with the level of food and service that you receive while visiting the restaurant. Highly Recommended.
